It is super effective. Would you want to commit a crime, knowing that you would die?

The bible says that everyone deserves a second chance. Lets say a innocent man was framed for a murder and given the death penalty. Is it right?

Let's say a criminal is not given the death sentence for murder because they think he was framed and let him go scott-free. Is that right?

Lets reorganise your thoughts tintin. The Bible says everyone should always be given not a second, but another chance. Jesus says "Forgive not 7 times but 77 times" or something like that. But is life imprisonment giving a second chance? And is breaking out of jail called a second chance? Only if you are released then are you given a second chance. Yes, all should be forgiven. However our society believes that some people are too horrible to be given that chance. Will post and finish some other time 2330liao tmr is a long day

The bible says that everyone deserves a second chance. Lets say a innocent man was framed for a murder and given the death penalty. Is it right? The difference here. Unless there is CLEAR evidence then the death penalty isnt given. EG. MSK was not given the death penalty cos it was never actually proven he was going to hijack the plane and crash it into changi. If the police are unable to get evidence they just detain till evidence is found. not death sentence. and, the bible says everyone deserves a second chance. If im not mistaken the bible also reads one must go about doing things the correct way? Breaking out of jail is not a right way.

MSK sinned many times, despite being forgiven. Everybody;s patience has their limits.

True. But we have not addressed what he has to say. Sorry if I took my time of colonialism by morgan das i would have explained more clearly. Yes no one deserves to die, everyone should be given a second, third, fourth, fifth chance. So then, why should he be put to death? Yes in God's view he should be given his 4th chance. But he did not want it. If he waited his time out in jail then when he came out there was his 4th chance. Now that he ran away, he needs a fifth chance. Why shouldnt he get it? Simply because he refuses his forgiveness. By not wanting the forgiveness all we can do from a human perspective is to not give it to him- i.e. Put a bullet through his head or choke him with a rope tied in a wierd shape put around a frame.

No its actually called a noose.
To support my point. Jeses forgives everyone if you ask for the forgiveness. Clearly Mas Selamat is not asking for it. Look at his pathetic position now... Running away looking for a good place to hide until he can borrow a $500,000 plane to crash into the golf ball of changi airport. Thats what you get if you opt for retribution rather than forgiveness. And this post and my previous 2 posts renders your point of God's grace... Well to make it sound nice- useless

just a reminder You have no right to say that MSK is runnong away. In fact, he could be living in Singapore now. Who says he has not asked Jesus for repentance? Both of us have no right to say anything because we need to support it with proof.
