In a war, do you think anybody will be thinking of being a gentleman? No.

war crimes only apply when the attacking country falls. In WW2 no war crime charges were made till japan fell. the emperor was discounted from the court as the emperor is like a god to the japanese. i dont think the americans charged their leaders for dropping the big bomb. did they?

In a war, i agree that the victors will be the one who act it out and that action can only be taken after the war. However, rules of war WILL APPLY. Although the victors might escape punishment, look at WWII- POWs taken by Japan were ill'treated in the death railway, and Japan's leaders, besides the Emperor, were all punished. Germany massacred the Jews in the Holocaust. Germany's leaders, albeit Hitler was assumed to have commited suicide, were also punished according to law. The allies DID NOT ILLTREAT their POWs. For the nuclear thing, it can be debated in another thread, if you want to.

ah ha! the allies did not illtreat their POWs. That's again only what they tell you. Germany is percieved as bad cos they lost and we are in a society which is largely affected by the british. Go look at Jap books and compare the atrocities and decide for yourselves which is the worst one. And there is a commonwealth law that it is a war crime to kill a doctor in war. Even if you win the war, being a commonwealth country we are still under this law. Die you life Science haters!

So now, we come to this point: Do we believe what the allies say about themselves as compared to the Axis, or do we believe what the Axis thinks about itself and the Allies.

Presicely the point. German books would be a very good reference given their transparency towards the issue although none of us here ccan read their 'w's and 'v's and their 'die's etc. so on so forth. However it is best as i said to look at both references and come to your own decision instead of just believing one.

All of you are offtopic! Back on it UYOs punish a whole group of people when only one has sinned Why punish people who did not do anything wrong? Because the people in UYOs were brought up this way and think it must be carried out. Some people think it promotes teamwork but no one can deny the fact it does not
So please stop making everyone pump because of one guy punish him instead. That way, the world will be a much better place to be

Ever heard of the word 'teamwork'? If you haven't check the dictionary and find out.
Because the people in UYOs were brought up this way and think it must be carried out. Some people think it promotes teamwork but no one can deny the fact it does not
I can personally say that it does. What makes you think it doesn't? Any proof?
So please stop making everyone pump because of one guy punish him instead. That way, the world will be a much better place to be
Says who? If you were that guy, how would you feel if you were being punished infront of all your friends?
