Obviously it helps but many ppl just cant be bothered to cheer! The players out there will 100% be encouraged on by sounds of cheering! We need to correct this mentality of ours and start cheering in competitions!

I agree. When the players hear our cheers, they will be spured on to win because they do not want disappoint the fans cheering for them. I feel that if we have the sense of unity, the One ACS spirit, then we will find this worthwhile and be more more willing to cheer for them.
One solution is to slowly let all levels have one big camp and let everybody get to know each other better, thereby forming a sense of unity.
GO ACS GO!

It is a total waste of time. In fact, if i am one of the players, i would think it is extremely distracting and Icannot concentrate on the game

Disgracing???!!!! You have never felt how encouragement can do wonders to a person!!!!!!!! IMAGINE! YOU, OUT THERE, TIRED AND SWEATY, TRYING TO WIN A GAME, YOU CAN ONLY HEAR THE OTHER TEAM CHEERING FOR YOUR OPPONENTS, WILL YOU BE MOTIVATED??? On the other hand, if YOU, TIRED, SWEATING AND HOLDING ON WITH ALL THE MIGHT YOU CAN AND FEEL LIKE GIVING UP, DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW ENCOURAGEMENT CAN WORK WONDERS IN HELPING HIM? FIRSTLY, IT GIVES HIM MOTIVATION ON HOW CAN HE HELP TO PLAY! SO THATS WHY WE NEED TO CHEER!!!

We should support our players, so how can you find it distracting? You should find it motivating.

If the player was me I would find it a nuisance. For example, I am playing goalkeepr and because of the cheering I dont save a penalty because I am Thinking of the motivation

um... i dun think so playing sports is like fighting a battle. if the other team r like winning 3-0, and all ur supporters hav left, while the other teamis like gonna score another goal, and al their supporters r cheering their heads off. would u feel like a useless LOSER???
