The animal abuse that I'm referring to here has nothing to do with torturing stray dogs, but something of which I am far more concerned about.
Perhaps its because people don't usually "walk around an animal's skin" that no one really notices this much. Heck, I hardly do either.
The Animal Abuse of which I refer to here is actually the severe abuse of domesticating animals for food.
Hundreds of years ago, people learned about farming and agriculture. They would capture animals, and breed them for food. AT that point of time, everything was controlled, and everyone was happy (except maybe the slaughtered animals).
Right now, its a living hell.
Chickens stuffed into cages so small they can even turn around, then fed so much that they become super fat, eggs collected, then slaughtered in the most hideous manner. The worst part is that the chickens are placed in a super small coop (sometimes with cages) that are so stuffed full with chickens that some actually die from suffocation.
Whats this...mecca for chickens?
Not just chickens, Pigs as well. Fed till they almost burst, then slaughtered. How they slaughter pigs? (This is TRUE, btw)
They sometimes heat up a metal tin (which could be used to boil water, but theres no water inside)...
Make sure its boiling hot...
And throw the poor piggy in.
The pig will obviously jump and try to escape. But can it? NOooo...the tin is too tall for them.
I am not objecting domestication for food here...I am objecting the ways of which the animals that provide us food are treated.
Debate?

It really depends on the farm in which they're reared. Traditional farming usually are not so cruel and will sometimes even spare some close animals (some cows / bulls). It really depends on the context. Those like mass farming are those which are cruel, if you ask me

Ok, then lets turn this debate in the direction of MASS farming.

Well what I think is that its quite cruel. The animals have feelings too. I didn't know that yhey slaughter them in a hot pot. That is just too cruel. The best way is that we should cut the throats of the future food, providing no pain. i uess the farmers want the job to be done MASS, as with the MASS farming, meaning that lots of piggies and chickies are killed in the easiest way. Cruel eh. Again the problem of money. We want $$ or ££ (on the forum). So what we do is we use less space, cheaper. Suffocation because of lack of space is this and again laziness of humies. Easier to feed if they are in small place wad. Die then its only 1 out of 100000000 chickens who gives a f*ck? So what da ya think? Its money and human laziness which is causing the pain to the animals in my opinion. PETA please step in

Well, I feel that although we need food to feed people, the way of slaugtering and killing animals are just too inhumane. Perhaps we have to revert back to the old way. Besides, People are only interested in $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and nothing else.
Therefore, although I hope for a change, I do not se it happening in the near future.

I'd prefer they destroy Manhattan and build a huge farmland where the 'domesticated for food' animals run free before they are hunted down, rather then the stuff animals till they are no longer animals.
One day evolution will work against us.

Yep. Then we would be forced to worship the immortal Emperor to stop us from becoming extinct But destroying manhattan would mean crumbling whatever the US stood for in its past like 200-300 years or so. That would have been what Osama wished for. I just think that let the food prices go up and dedicate more land to this humane cause. Down with the lousy farming up with high tech farming and humane animal treatment!
