I read Webby's announcement that he wanted me to come up with a horde of new tech threads equvilent to that of the size of an Ork army. So this is the first in 50 new threads in an attempt to make the Forum more active.
The ban on Com games is definitely pissing me off. I have been trying to find a way to get DOW to work on my com without having to install it. And great now my hard drive is down and I'll have to wait 2 weeks for it to be fixed and my bro's friend wouldn't lend the CD to me anyway. So I'll have to settle for less. When I get that HDD back I'm gonna get my Game in as fast as possible and then play it until the exams are gone ;D dont worry its the other way round really.
Ok so I did say I was going to get the d**ned game on my Hard Drive. The question is how. The 6.67GB game would take me 2hrs to send manually and I'm not gonna waste my time. Even if I did multitask I would be disracted while doing my work. I am going to share the files using Double Twist as with transferring the folders manually. I was reading my tech magazines looking for ideas to post. Then I came acorss Tubes, which was something I saw better than this double twist, but they closed the service on 31 jan 2008 sad. So then I found this. This is much more versatile where it can send files via email addresses, facebook contacts and even transfer your iTunes store music to your handphones, getting rid of that irritating lock which requires my email password and allows only 5 devices to use.
Ok back. Now I tell you that double twist is mostly media sharing, meaning that mostly videos and music and pictures can be shared. I can still use it though, for the game has a few videos.
But the versatality more than makes up for it. You can send the files as simply as dragging and dropping, and the files can be shared with a wide host of people. Im not so sure about the speed though, fo I have never tried sharing anything yet. So overall a 7.5/10, not too bad a choice but excellent for media sharing lovers. Now they wound rate it at least a 8.5
