Chestee and Wesltw had been confused by these terms before. The world is too accustomed to using the words 'hack' and 'hackers' too much.
You account is only considered 'hacked' when a person with sufficient knowledge with computers and (possibly) networks and proxy servers, as well as many other computer geek stuff which I would not wish to relay on a family-friendly forum like this, successfully obtain your passwords through undisclosed means.
When an account is 'cracked', it means that the 'cracker' had already known your password in the first place, or had been randomly trying out random sequences and suddenly getting lucky (unlikely). Think about cracking a safe. That is precisely why you must keep your passwords safe.

Ya but you don't need to know so much to hack... If you want to hack a phone with SIM lock, switch the SIM card. If you want to hack a phone with a phone lock, switch the SIM card in the phone to another phone and you can see the stuff in the SIM card.
In either case, you cannot see the total contents of both the cards.
Unless... Back up the Data and send it to tech support saying you forgot the password and they will restore the phone to default for you to use:D The backed up Data in the memory card attached to the phone(cannot back up to com because the sync suite will also ask you for the password) can be taken out and read in the computer. If the phone is on SIM lock, remove the card and use a SIM backup to backup the data before cleaning the phone...
Beware... I like reading SMS messages.
But all SMS messages cannot be salvaged using the above methods if the phone is on either/both locks. If both locks are on, no SMS messages will be salvaged. If 1 of 2 is on, only the messages which are not protected can be read.

Hey... I'mnot that bad... I only hacked 1 phone in my lifetime.
Cut me some slack
BTW mooching means feeding off a network or something like that, similar to 'wardriving'. So you used the wrong term...
