People have now taken a liking to download just about everything using torrents. They download anime, games, e-book pdf files, and Marcus Lieu is even planning to download the entire Windows Vista OS(Most of these downloads are illegal though, I wouldn't encourage them). However, these torrents have to be downloaded from the internet first before they are opened by the torrenter. The downloads are also very slow, possibly up to 5 times longer than a conventional direct download. But they can be paused and can be continued another time(You even can restart the com and continue downloading) which means that your com will not blow up on you.

The only 2 things of which I do not like about torrents are that they are super-slow to download, and there must be a seeder before you can download.
I use utorrent, a commen Bittorrent client.
