This book typically takes up a 'Dan Brown' feel. There has been criticism on Dan Brown's continuous use of plot. However, it is easy to glue yourself onto one of his books.
This book 'Digital Fortress' was not as heart-stopping as the Da Vinci Code, not as cryptic as Angels and Demons, but more realistic than the 2 books mentioned above, and still considerably different from Deception Point.
Digital Fortress was about an American defense industry (named CERN)that decodes encryted stuff (like emails)in order to stop terrorist attacks. It had been criticised by the civilians for the intrusion of privacy. CERN also had a universal code breaking machine that could break every single code. Ever. However, one of its past employees Ensei Tankado (or something like that) managed to create a code that this Universal Code breaking machine could not break, and he named it 'Digital Fortress'. However, one day, Tankado...
Ok, its hard to give a summery on this book. Its plot is complex, and you should really read it yourself.
My rating (upon scale of 10): 7
Worthy read.

8/10
Plot moves at breakneck pace, and requires a fair bit of technical understanding. In whole book, there is not only 1 plot but a few, and there is also some hidden agendas in some characters decisions. The book will leave you breathless and suprised at the end.
A worthy read.
